How it works

The French press system is the easiest way to brew rich, flavorful coffee.

1. Place the CHAMBORD on a flat surface, hold the handle firmly and pull the plunger up and out of the carafe.
2. Add one rounded teaspoon or Bodum scoop of coarsely ground coffee for every cup/4 oz of water.
3. Pour hot water into the carafe (approximately 92-96°C) leaving a minimum of 2.5 cm/1 inch at the top, and stir with a plastic or wooden spoon.
4. Place the plunger unit on top of the pan and turn the lid so that the spout is closed to retain heat.
5. Let infuse for four minutes , then slowly lower the piston. Twist the lid to open the spout and pour your delicious cup of coffee.

Use and maintenance

Wash with warm soapy water before first use and dry thoroughly.
