Functioning

• Place the CHAMBORD on a flat surface, hold the handle firmly and pull the plunger up and out of the carafe.
  
• Add one heaped teaspoon or Bodum scoop of coarsely ground coffee for every cup/4oz of water.
  
• Pour hot water into the carafe (approximately 92-96ºC) leaving a minimum of 2.5 cm/1 inch at the top, and stir with a plastic or wooden spoon.
  
• Place the plunger unit on the pot and turn the lid to close the spout to retain heat.
  
• Let it steep for four minutes, then slowly lower the plunger.
• Twist the lid to open the spout and pour your delicious cup of coffee.
  

Use and maintenance

• Wash in warm soapy water before first use and dry thoroughly.
