Caring for your RIEDEL crystal

• RIEDEL glasses are dishwasher safe. RIEDEL exclusively recommends MIELE
• To avoid stains: use soft water (low mineral content)
• To avoid scratches: Avoid contact of the glass with other glasses or metals
• To remove stains: use white vinegar
• If available, use a stemware rack

In case of hand washing

• Wash the glass with warm water (use detergent and rinse the glass thoroughly)
• Polishing glass: Use two polishing cloths, never hold the glass by the base to polish the bowl
• Rod snagging: occurs due to improper handling = torque or bending pressure at the rod
• Storage: Avoid storing glass in kitchen cabinets that have strong aromas that translate to glass

Microfiber polishing cloth

• Wash at boiling temperature (to kill bacteria) with odorless soap
• Must be machine washed at min. 170°F / 75°C
• Never use fabric softener when rinsing your microfiber polishing cloth (prevents a grease film on the surface)
