The Single Malt Whiskey Glass is perfect for highlighting the elegant smoothness of a premium single malt whisky.

This glass was designed following a series of workshops in 1992. The final product has the shape of an elongated thistle on a truncated stem, and incorporates a small, slightly turned lip that highlights the smoothness.

Caring for your RIEDEL crystal

• RIEDEL glasses are dishwasher safe. RIEDEL exclusively recommends MIELE
• To avoid stains: use soft water (low mineral content)
• To avoid scratches: avoid contact of the glass with other glasses or metals
• To remove stains: use white vinegar
• If available, use a stemware rack

If hand wash

• Wash the glass under warm water (use detergent and rinse the glass thoroughly)
• Polishing glass: Use two polishing cloths, never hold the glass by the base to polish the bowl
• Rod snapping: occurs due to improper handling = torque or bending pressure on the rod
• Storage: Avoid storing glass in kitchen cabinets that have strong aromas that translate to glass

Microfiber polishing cloth

• Wash in boiling water (to kill bacteria) with odorless soap
• Must be machine washed at min. 170°F/75°C
• Never use fabric softener when rinsing your microfiber polishing cloth (prevents grease films on the surface)
