The machine-made tasting set from the state-of-the-art Performance glass collection is the new ultimate speaker for fine wines. The Cabernet glass showcases majestically structured red wines in all their complexity and finesse. The bowl shape of the Pinot Noir glass supports the peaty flavor and plummy taste of these sensual red wines. The shape of the Riesling glass best supports the characteristic bouquet of floral white wines—the aroma and taste are dominated by fermented grape juice and yeast flavor. The bowl size of the Chardonnay glass allows the rich bouquet to develop its superbly diverse range of aromas, while minimizing the risk of becoming overly concentrated. Performance is the first RIEDEL wine glass series to offer bowls with a slight optical impact, which not only adds a pleasing visual appearance to the bowl, but also increases the interior surface area. All RIEDEL glasses are dishwasher safe.

Caring for your RIEDEL crystal

• RIEDEL glasses are dishwasher safe. RIEDEL exclusively recommends MIELE
• To avoid stains: use soft water (low mineral content)
• To avoid scratches: avoid contact of the glass with other glasses or metals
• To remove stains: use white vinegar
• If available, use a stemware rack

If hand wash

• Wash the glass under warm water (use detergent and rinse the glass thoroughly)
• Polishing glass: Use two polishing cloths, never hold the glass by the base to polish the bowl
• Rod snapping: occurs due to improper handling = torque or bending pressure on the rod
• Storage: Avoid storing glass in kitchen cabinets that have strong aromas that translate to glass

Microfiber polishing cloth

• Wash in boiling water (to kill bacteria) with odorless soap
• Must be machine washed at min. 170°F/75°C
• Never use fabric softener when rinsing your microfiber polishing cloth (prevents grease films on the surface)
