There's a little corner of Provence where we met authentic producers. They grow herbs and spices organically as a family. They found ingredients of rare quality to create this new blend: Herbes de Provence, 100% Provence-made, of course.
Five herbs are found in the carton to offer you the traditional Herbes de Provence blend.
All the scents of Provence are captured in our pod, ready to deliver all its fragrances

All these plants clearly recall the fragrances of the south, of Provence. They smell of the sun and their essential oils develop particularly well in this terroir. For example, Provençal thyme is naturally rich in carvacrol (over 15%); this richness is particularly due to the Provençal terroir and climate.
Grown naturally in open fields, without any additional products or chemical treatments, our blend of organic herbs in pods is a true concentrate of Provence! All that's missing is the sun and the song of the cicadas, which we prefer not to put in pods.
Herbes de Provence are a classic of French cuisine, pairing them with a multitude of dishes. They are inevitably made to be paired with sunshine and grilled meats. They will enhance them wonderfully.
Herbes de Provence go very well with oven-cooked or stewed meats such as veal, lamb, pork or rabbit.
Finally, the classics such as white fish in foil, spreads, pizza or a Provençal vegetable tian.
Savory, oregano, thyme, and rosemary are all native plants of the Mediterranean region and Provence. They have long been among the plants harvested in the garrigue. Basil comes to us from elsewhere, it is native to India. It appeared in Italy in the 15th century after traveling through the Middle East and the Mediterranean. It became established in France at the beginning of the 16th century.
These herbes de Provence, however, have made a very short journey: from Provence to our premises in Ain. The majority of herbes de Provence that we find do not come from Provence; they are imported from elsewhere. It seemed obvious and natural to us to select our herbes de Provence in Provence.
