This genuine Presto replacement set includes a sealing ring and a pressure plug. The ring fits around the inner rim of the lid and creates a leak-proof seal between the lid and the pot during cooking.

Presto recommends replacing both parts at the same time. The set is compatible with 26 Presto 4- and 6-quart aluminum or stainless steel pressure cooker models, including the 6-quart stainless steel electric pressure cooker.

Presto is the appliance brand of National Presto Industries, a company founded in 1905 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. It initially manufactured autoclaves for commercial use, then for home use, before introducing its first small kitchen appliances in 1939. Presto also offers genuine replacement parts, such as sealing gaskets for its pressure cookers and autoclaves.
