In addition, JURA has developed the pioneering cold extraction process – a truly refreshing innovation. In this process, cold water is slowly forced through freshly ground coffee under high pressure. The result is a completely new way to experience coffee – refreshing, energizing, and with a wonderfully balanced aroma.
The new Product Recognizing Grinder (PRG)
To ensure optimal grinding for each specialty, JURA engineers have developed the Product Recognizing Grinder (PRG). The electronically controlled, high-performance grinder adjusts to the preset grind consistency in a fraction of a second - much faster and more frequently than could be done manually. Its spectrum ranges from very fine for short classics to very coarse for long specialties. But coffee lovers need not worry, as the setting is made automatically every time a drink is prepared and, if desired, can also be selected individually before each preparation thanks to the Aroma Selection function.
Cold infusion – extreme freshness
Thanks to the cold extraction process, the Z10 prepares real cold infusion specialties. While many conventional cold brew coffee drinks consist primarily of hot brewed coffee that is then chilled, in the Z10, extraction takes place with cold water, pulsed at high pressure, and coarser ground coffee. The end result is a natural, energizing and refreshing drink in which the fruity aromas of coffee can be fully appreciated without being overwhelmed by bitterness. Anything else would just be cold coffee.
Eighth generation brewing unit
The brewing unit is the most important part of any automatic coffee machine. For the Z10, JURA has created the eighth generation brewing unit. With its unique 3D brewing technology, it allows water to flow evenly through the ground coffee at multiple levels. This allows you to get the most out of the aroma, both in hot specialties and in cold infusions.
