Wood Care: After use, wash this product with warm, soapy water and wipe dry. Apply butcher block oil to the product when the cutting surface becomes dry or after each use. Avoid soaking this product and do not use it in a dishwasher. From time to time, the surface may become "bumpy." This is completely natural as we leave all our wood in its natural state without varnish or lacquers. You can simply use a high-grit sandpaper to smooth it out and re-oil it to bring it back to like new!
